The Lazy Susans

Amy Adams has closed a deal to produce and star in Lazy Susans, a new comedy coming together at 20th Century Studios.

Oscar nominees Annie Mumolo (Bridesmaids) and Stan Chervin (Moneyball) have been tapped to script the film about a group of moms who form a rock band. Pic is inspired by the story of The Lazy Susans, a real group out of Boston moms, who assembled amid the Covid pandemic. Set to produce for TEG+, Vivek J. Tiwary and Jack Leslie got the ball rolling on the project when they optioned the Boston Magazine article “For Those Moms About to Rock.” Adams and Stacy O’Neil will also produce through their Bond Group Entertainment banner. A director is not yet attached.
